At 280 degrees the S3 is the most aggressive of GSC's three billet S profiles for this engine, and it asks for a build to match: a turbo with real flow behind it, fueling and tuning to suit, and a driver happy to live with a lumpier idle in exchange for what happens at the top of the rev range. Everything below the midrange gets traded away deliberately here. Pick it when the rest of the engine is already waiting on the head.
