Why it matters on your Evo 1-3
The factory 7-bolt rods are a known weak point once boost and power climb past stock levels. Upgrading to forged 4340 H-Beam rods gives an Evo the bottom end strength to safely turn up the boost, add rpm and push higher horsepower targets without the risk of bending or breaking a stock rod.
Fitment
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution I, II and III (CD9A / CE9A), 1992 to 1995. 7-bolt 4G63T 2.0L turbo.
