CP-Carrillo forged pistons and rings, 86.0mm (+1.0mm) — 6-bolt 4G63T
This is the largest of the three bore sizes we list in this set, and the size decides everything — order it only if your block is being taken 1.0mm over. That is the usual outcome when a 4G63 has scored a cylinder or has enough wear that a light hone will not clean it up: the machinist cuts to 86.0mm, the cylinders come back true and round, and you pick up a little displacement along the way. The pistons themselves are forged 2618 aluminium, which is what lets a boosted 4G63 live with the combustion temperatures and detonation risk that split factory castings. A complete ring pack, wrist pins and locks are in the box.

Machined for a 6-bolt 4G63 short block with a 21mm wrist pin — the swapped block many early Evo builds run, not the factory 7-bolt. Check with your builder which block is going in before you order this bore.
