Evo 123 - Cusco - Type RS Front LSD 1-Way/1.5-Way
Cusco Type RS Front LSD, 1-Way / 1.5-Way — Evo 1/2/3
Type RS runs a spring-loaded cam, and that single design difference is why it feels nothing like the Type MZ in traffic: initial torque is low, internal friction stays down, and lock-up builds progressively instead of snapping in. In practice you get much less of the tug through the wheel at low speed that a high-initial-torque diff gives you, while the unit still locks hard once you are properly on the power. It is supplied as a 1-way, acting on drive only, and can be reconfigured to 1.5-way if you want engagement on the overrun too. Cars that came with an open front diff should take LSD 134 A instead.

- Lower internal friction than the Type MZ — the street-friendly Cusco LSD
