ACT 4-Pad Rigid Race Clutch Disc — Evo 1/2/3 (4G63 7-bolt)
This is a disc on its own rather than a kit, which is what you want when the pressure plate is healthy or when you are assembling a clutch from ACT components. Four ceramic pads on a rigid, unsprung hub give the sharpest engagement in the ACT disc range and the fastest shift action along with it. Nothing damps the driveline, so every gear change comes through to you and rattle at idle is part of the arrangement.
ACT fastens the disc with top-grade rivets whose design and materials are chosen for maximum strength, and recommends the 4-pad rigid layout for the smaller disc diameters. It is listed for the 7-bolt 4G63 through the 1993–1999 DSM applications, the same driveline used by the Japan-only Evo 1/2/3, which rarely appears by name in a North American catalog.
