If the puck discs sound like more car than the way you actually drive, this is the sensible one. Premium organic friction material sits on a spring-centered hub, so engagement is smooth and the cabin stays quiet. High copper content in the lining helps pull heat out of the friction surface, and ACT uses a reduced marcel so shifts still come up quickly instead of feeling soft.
The spring center uses bushings and cone springs much like a factory disc, creating frictional damping that lengthens clutch life and keeps noise down. It sells under the 1993–1999 DSM 7-bolt headings, which is exactly where an Evo 1/2/3 owner should be looking: same 4G63, same transmission mounting, and no separate North American listing because the car was never sold here.
