The ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with a 4-pad rigid ceramic disc. Rigid means there are no hub springs, so the disc is light, shifts land fast and engagement is blunt. This is the least forgiving take-up of the ACT kits offered here for the 7-bolt 4G63, and that is exactly the point of it.
The disc hub is chrome-moly, heat-treated for strength and durability, and the Heavy Duty diaphragm follows the usual ACT approach of higher clamp load with reduced deflection. Expect the fitment to be published for the 1993–1999 Eclipse GSX and Talon: those cars and the Japan-only Evo 1/2/3 take the same 7-bolt clutch, so the listing is right even though the Evo is not named on it.
