ARP harmonic balancer bolt kit — crankshaft snout fastener, 4G63

One bolt, sitting at the front of the crankshaft, holding the harmonic balancer onto the snout. It matters more than its size suggests: the balancer is soaking up the twisting and rebound of a boosted 4G63 crank, and if the clamp load is not there the balancer starts to move on the snout. That wallows the keyway, throws your crank trigger and ignition timing out, and in the worst case takes the crank nose with it. This ARP bolt clamps harder than the factory item and comes with a thick, wide-area washer to spread that load into the balancer face.

• Chromoly steel with black oxide finish, 200,000 psi tensile strength
• Thread: 14mm x 1.50
• Extra-tall 19mm 12-point head that accepts a deep socket and resists rounding off
• Supplied as bolt plus thick wide-area washer
