Evo 123 - Clutch Masters - FX725 PRO Triple Disc Clutch Kit (Steel Flywheel) (4G63 7-Bolt)
Clutch Masters FX725 PRO Triple-Disc Race Clutch Kit, Steel Flywheel — Evo 1/2/3
A third disc adds a third pair of friction surfaces, which is how a 7.25-inch clutch keeps hold of a heavily built 4G63 without asking for a truck-like pedal. Clutch Masters calls this configuration Triple Race, part code P3D7R: three rigid ceramic discs with no hub springs, supplied here with the steel flywheel. It is the most committed clutch in the FX725 PRO family and behaves accordingly, with chatter at idle, sharp take-up and no interest in being polite in a parking lot.
Like the rest of the 7-bolt catalog, it is indexed to the North American DSM cars of 1993 to 1999 instead of the Evo by name. Those Evos were Japan-only, and the transmission interface is shared, so the Eclipse or Talon heading on the listing is the right place to find the correct part.
