S2 is the middle grind in the billet range, and the step where the character of the engine genuinely changes rather than just sharpens. It moves the useful part of the powerband up, which pays off on a car running a turbo that was never going to show what it could do on stock cams, and it costs you a little of the easygoing bottom end in return. Best matched to a build where fueling, boost and tuning are all being sorted at the same time.

• Sits between the S1 and S3 grinds
• Evo 4 to 7 installs require the Evo 8 cam trigger wheel and bolt, or the existing wheel modified for a larger bolt
