Carrillo Pro-SA connecting rods, 3/8 WMC bolt — 6-bolt 4G63
Pro-SA stands for Super-A, and it sits deliberately between the two ends of Carrillo's range: a refined A-beam that gives up some of the Pro-H's outright bulk without dropping to the bare-minimum weight of the Pro-A. Less mass swinging on the crank means the engine changes speed more willingly, which on a boosted 4G63 shows up as sharper throttle response and a keener top end. It runs the standard 3/8 WMC fastener, so it is matched to the same strong street and track power levels as the Pro-H version — you are choosing beam profile here, not bolt. Set of four.
- Beam: Pro-SA (Super-A) — a lightweight A-beam positioned between the Pro-H and the Pro-A
- Fastener: 3/8 WMC (H11 tool steel) bolt, roughly 220,000 psi ultimate tensile strength, suited to builds in the 800+ wheel-horsepower range
- Carrilloy chrome-nickel-moly-vanadium VAR alloy, mar-aged heat treated, forged and fully machined
- 5.906 in center-to-center length, 21mm full-floating wrist pin

For a 6-bolt 4G63 short block with a 21mm wrist pin. Early Evo builds commonly run that swapped block, but the factory 7-bolt takes different rods — make sure yours matches before you order.
