Front Lower Control Arm Bushings, Inner Rear Position — Whiteline W52662

This is the rearward inner mount of the front lower control arm, and it does a completely different job from the forward pivot: it absorbs fore-and-aft load rather than locating the arm's swing. Every time you brake hard or put the 4G63T's torque down, this bushing is what stops the front wheel moving backwards in the arch, and a tired one lets caster wander around under load. Owners feel that as a nose that squirms under braking, a knock from the front of the car on turn-in, and steering that goes soft exactly when you are asking the most of it. Fresh polyurethane here holds the wheel's fore-aft location so caster stays where the alignment put it.
