Evo 789 - Wisefab - Front Suspension Drop Knuckle Kit
Wisefab Front Suspension Drop Knuckle Kit for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII, VIII and IX.
Lowering an Evo adds grip, but it also pulls the factory suspension geometry out of the range it was designed for. This kit puts the roll centre and the arm angles back where they belong on a lowered car, so you get the grip of the lower ride height without the handling penalty. It is a track kit, built for circuit and grip use.
The knuckles and arms are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium billet with double shear connections throughout, and the front and rear kits together save around 15 kg over the factory parts. Chromoly rod ends and spherical bearings replace the rubber bushings, so the geometry stays where you set it under load.
Adjustment
- Separate camber and caster adjustment through the supplied top mounts, with caster set to 4.7 degrees out of the box
- Slightly quicker steering ratio than stock
- Mounting points for Evo VII, VIII, IX or X brake calipers
- Room in the upright for a larger CV joint if power and grip ever outgrow the factory joints
Fitment
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII (CT9A)
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII (CT9A)
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX (CT9A)
Also fits the Evo VI (CP9A), but the Evo VI subframe needs a minor modification to clear the supplied arms.
