Finish the job
Link EVO3X G4X Plug-In ECU for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution I, II and III. It drops into the factory ECU location on the original mounts, loom and connectors, so there is no rewiring and no adapter harness. Factory functionality is retained and a start-up map is loaded, so the car runs from the moment it is in.
Underneath it is the full G4X platform: dual CAN bus, flex fuel, closed-loop boost and lambda, VVT control, CAN keypad support, a built-in trigger oscilloscope and 512MB of onboard logging, plus the motorsport set, launch control, anti-lag, traction control, nitrous, gear shift and paddle shift.
E-Throttle Upgrade
This ECU can be supplied with the factory E-Throttle Upgrade applied. The board is modified by Link at their Global HQ when the order is placed, which enables drive-by-wire control that the standard ECU cannot run.
- Choose With E-Throttle Upgrade above to have it done.
- Adds roughly three weeks to the normal lead time, as the ECU is modified to order. Longer again during Link sale periods.
- The upgrade can only be applied to a new ECU at time of purchase. An ECU you already own has to go through Link's technical support instead, so it cannot be added later.
- Drive-by-wire also needs the hardware: an accelerator pedal module and an electronic throttle body. Both are listed separately.
Fitment
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 1 (CD9A)
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 2 (CE9A)
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 3 (CE9A)
- Mitsubishi GSR 1.8L 4G62
Before you order
- Manual transmissions only.
- Onboard MAP sensor. New ECUs are fitted with a 7 bar absolute sensor, good for 6 bar (about 87 psi) of boost. Earlier boards used a 4 bar absolute sensor, good for 3 bar (about 44 psi). The 7 bar version carries a sticker on the bottom board. An external MAP sensor can also be wired in through the expansion connector.
- In the box: the ECU, USB tuning cable, anti-static strap and Link's plug-in manual card. No separate tuning cable is needed.
- Check your factory ECU connector matches the header shown in the photos.
