Connects a Link plug-in ECU to a CAN device, most commonly an AiM dash. This is the cable that lets the dash read everything the ECU knows.
Why this one
Every Mitsubishi Link plug-in (EVO3X, EVO8X, EVO9X and VR4X) uses the 5-pin CAN connector, so this is the right cable for all of them. It is not a tuning cable: the USB tuning cable for connecting a laptop comes in the box with the ECU.
