A sway bar can only resist body roll if both ends of it are held still, and these are the bushings that clamp the rear bar to the car. When the original rubber has softened, the bar shuffles in its mounts through the first part of every corner and only starts working once the car has already leaned over, which is why the rear can feel lazy responding to quick direction changes. These are sized for a 23mm (.90 inch) rear bar.
