ACT Clutch Alignment Tool — 4G63 7-bolt, Evo 1/2/3
Nothing exotic here, just the piece that turns a clutch job from a wrestling match into a bolt-up. The tool holds the clutch disc centered on the pilot bearing while the ACT pressure plate is torqued down, so the transmission input shaft lines up with the splines instead of hanging the gearbox half on and half off. Anyone who has tried to eyeball a disc into place with a transmission balanced on a jack tends to buy one of these immediately afterwards.
AT20 is the tool listed for the 7-bolt 4G63, published under the 1993–1999 DSM applications. The Evo 1/2/3 was a Japan-market car with no North American listing of its own and uses that same clutch and transmission mounting, so this is the right tool for a CD9A or CE9A.
