This is the red version of Mishimoto's silicone hose kit for the CZ4A, for owners who would rather the work under the hood was visible. Function is the same as any good silicone hose: it copes with the heat cycling that eventually turns factory rubber hard and brittle, and it holds its shape at the clamps instead of squashing over time. The color is simply what you see when the hood goes up.
