The rear brakes on an Evo X do less work than the fronts, but they are a large part of how stable the car feels as you trail the brakes into a corner, and a glazed rear rotor takes that away. DBA's T3 slot pattern cuts across the face so the pad meets a clean edge on every rotation, giving gas, dust and worn pad material somewhere to escape instead of building into a slick layer between pad and disc. This is the 4000 Series rear rotor.
