A head gasket only ever does half the work; the clamping load holding it against the block does the rest. That matters more on a large-bore 4B11 than on a standard one, because a bigger cylinder area means cylinder pressure is trying harder to push the head off the block on every combustion event. Choose the fasteners and the assembly procedure with the same care as the gasket and this will stay sealed.
